Independent Wrestling Company Goes Viral For Horrific Comments During A Women’s Match

Independent wrestling company Atomic Revolutionary Wrestling (ARW) have found themselves in a sea of controversy following the airing of their latest “Extreme Takeover Thursday” episode.

During the broadcast, indie wrestlers Devlyn Macabre and Destiny were facing one another when ARW’s then color commentator Blake Moia decided to make several sexist comments at the expense of Macabre. First stating that he wanted Macabre to hit him in the bedroom, before speculating “I wonder what she’s like in the bedroom.” You can see a clip of the commentary below:

In the time since the incident, Moia who was also an Executive Producer at ARW has been removed from his position within the company. ARW confirmed as much on their Twitter page. Also stating that they do not support the comments made by Moia, as well as claiming the episode “did not get the final approval from us.” At the time of that confirmation, Macabre had still not been sent an apology from anyone at ARW that has since been rectified.

Going forward ARW have also changed their commentary team, with the new team being a three-man booth of Alex Red, Nick Gage and Pete Lynch.
