– As noted, WWE will be holding a live event in Shenzhen, China at the Shenzhen Bay Sports Center Arena on Sunday, September 17th. This marks the first time that the company has held an event in the city. WWE has recently announced that they will be holding a SmackDown live event in Osaka, Japan on September 16th, the night before the Shenzhen event. Shinsuke Nakamura, Randy Orton, AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, Jinder Mahal, Baron Corbin, Naomi and Charlotte Flair are all advertised to appear that event. Also, the company will be holding two live events in Tokyo on June 30th and July 1st.
– Former WWE Champion CM Punk is set to appear at the Eternal Con pop culture convention on Long Island on July 1st and July 2nd. WWE Hall of Famer Greg Valentine, WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley, Noelle Foley, Bubba Ray Dudley, Velvet Sky, The Nasty Boys, Ashley Massaro and Tommy Dreamer are also set to appear at the convention.
– NXT Women’s Champion Asuka has now tied WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus for third longest Women’s Championship reign in WWE history at 448 days. This milestone is just behind Rockin’ Robin at 502 days and the Fabulous Moolah at 10,104 days. It’s possible that Asuka can make it to the second-longest reign in history in the near future.
