Major League Wrestling will be taking a break until the fall following this week’s “Kings of Colosseum” episode of MLW: Fusion.
According to a report from Pwinsider, the company will not be airing any new episodes until the new season premieres in September. Instead, BeIn Sport will air “Best Of” episodes. The company will also be releasing some MLW All-Access episodes.
There have been some talks about MLW adding a few house shows when they return to touring. This would help with the costs of bringing talents in for their pre-tapes at the TV tapings. The talent would also be getting some extra dates in.
Richard Holliday is still out of action due to some concussion issues. The MLW star was forced to pull out of several independent dates recently due to this. According to a report from Pwinsider, the concussion took place at Battle Riot IV during his match with Alex Hammerstone. As of this writing, he hasn’t been cleared to return.
And finally, MLW is planning to make a few more business announcements during the summer while they are off between ‘seasons.”
