CM Punk is backstage at tonight’s WWE RAW TV tapings in San Diego, California. For what it’s worth, Punk had not previously been scheduled to appear on tonight’s show and there is no word on whether he’ll be appearing live.
Punk worked several Holiday Tour live events including the post-Christmas Madison Square Garden event. His next advertised appearance includes next week’s episode of RAW.
Additionally, a “former WWE Champion” is expected to be appearing on tonight’s episode of RAW. This person is someone who is not currently on the WWE roster – which eliminates CM Punk as that person.
