Chris Jericho revealed on a recent episode of Live Audio Wrestling that he is on a month-to-month deal with WWE. He was expected to leave to go and record a new album for his band, Fozzy, but he’s stuck around longer than originally plan due to the success of his run this year, especially with current WWE Universal Champion, Kevin Owens.
As for his status for WrestleMania 33 this year, according to Ringside News, he is not currently booked to work the show, but it’s being said that if run remains hot and if Jericho is available during WrestleMania season, WWE will add him to the card. Rumors also suggest that he could have a top match on the card. In addition, it’s also being said that a transitional Universal Championship reign isn’t out of the question, though it may be unlikely he does win it.
