We reported in January here on eWn that former IWGP US champion Lance Archer was in “high-level talks” to sign with All Elite Wrestling. According to a new report from PWInsider, there has been “lot of talk” backstage about Archer debuting for AEW next month. For what it’s worth, Archer was not listed in the New Japan Cup brackets that were released earlier this week.
A new “tease” for The Exalted One for The Dark Order was released on Tuesday and it included Archer’s catchphrase of “Everybody dies!” It said,
“Everybody lives. Everybody dies. The Exalted One is near. The Exalted One arrives.”
