According to a report from Sportskeeda, there is frustration in the locker room of WWE over the booking of Finn Balor.
Reportedly, the peers of the inaugural Universal Champion are having a hard time understanding why he isn’t more of a permanent fixture on regular television. One wrestler is quoted as saying, “He should be in main events or a wild card or something. Where is he?”
Another wrestler spoke about their excitement when they were told that they were penciled to potentially be working with the current Intercontinental Champion, but plans changed.
Finn Balor, who moved over to SmackDown in the Superstar Shake-up prior to the announcement of the Wild Card rule, has held on to the Intercontinental Championship since WrestleMania but hasn’t been featured in a regular role on television since about Money In The Bank. There were many reports that Balor had suffered injuries in the multi-man ladder match, but he still managed to go over Andrade add WWE Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia.
