There were some late changes made to this week’s episode of RAW.
According to a report from Fightful, the original plan was to have Carmella face Bianca Belair on RAW. The match was changed to Zelina Vega vs. Belair at the last minute. Instead, Carmella was put into the six-woman tag team match where she teamed up with Tamina and Nikki A.S.H. against Rhea Ripley, Dana Brooke and Liv Morgan.
As of this writing, there is no word on why the original plans were changed. The changes happened close enough to the show airing live that they weren’t reflected internally.
Also, Seth Rollins was originally scheduled to be on commentary for a match at some point. Of course, that didn’t wind up happening.
And finally, WWE originally had plans to air a Royal Rumble “By The Numbers” video, but that never aired and it was posted on social media instead.
