As many of you know by now, Montez Ford hasn’t been seen on WWE television after he was attacked by Otis on the June 11 episode of SmackDown. The storyline in WWE was that he suffered a partial rib fracture and torn intercostal cartilage.
According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the injuries WWE claimed were the case of him being off TV weren’t legitimate. With that being said, Ford did undergo surgery yesterday but it was said to be voluntary and not related to an actual injury. He’s not expected to miss much in-ring time.
