Backstage News On WWE’s Expectation For Logan Paul

Logan Paul signed a multi-year contract with WWE last month that will see him work an unknown amount of dates in 2022 and 2023.

On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about what WWE hopes to get by signing Paul, which is to draw some curiosity from people who are not wrestling fans. They don’t expect him to draw big ratings.

In April, Paul last wrestled at WrestleMania 38 (Night One), where he teamed with The Miz to defeat The Mysterios. Following the match, The Miz turned on Paul. This was reportedly done because WWE had agreed to make Paul a babyface by the end of his previous run.

Paul will wrestle The Miz at SummerSlam and is expected to remain a babyface for his upcoming program with The Miz. He’ll be on Miz TV tonight on RAW to further build the match.
