Dave Meltzer noted on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio that this year’s WrestleMania 36 card had yet to be finalized. Matches have either been changed or coming together over the past couple of weeks.

It’s been reported that John Cena was scheduled to face Elias, but that turned into Bray Wyatt, who was originally slated to face Roman Reigns. However, now, Reigns will challenge WWE Universal Champion Goldberg.

This is part of how little was planned out long-term for this year’s WrestleMania. Goldberg wasn’t even scheduled to be on the show, but Vince McMahon changed his mind.

AJ Styles vs. Undertaker was decided in February while Elias vs. King Corbin was reportedly another newly added match to the PPV.

Meltzer said Otiz vs. Dolph Ziggler has been on the books for a month. WWE Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch vs. Shayna Baszler is one of the few matches that was originally planned as far back as a year ago.

The WrestleMania 36 show goes down on Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5 in Orlando, Florida at the WWE Performance Center.
