According to a new report from Cageside Seats, there is talk within WWE about turning Shane McMahon heel in the coming weeks on SmackDown! Live. According to the website, the ongoing storyline between Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and Shane McMahon could lead to Shane turning heel.
As seen on SmackDown! Live over the past several weeks, Shane McMahon has been playing the babyface role and levying punishments against Zayn and Owens as a result of their actions. Following an angle where Sami Zayn was banned from ringside during an Owens vs. Orton match, McMahon had Orton face Zayn with Kevin Owens handcuffed to the ring post. WWE SmackDown! Live General Manager Daniel Bryan seemed to be getting tired of Shane’s attitude on Tuesday’s SmackDown! Live broadcast.
The site reports that there is talk that Shane’s going overboard with his punishments will lead to him breaking and turning heel.
