Although some fans were complaining about the matches at last night’s Ring of Honor/G1 Supercard event, ROH and New Japan management were said to have been “very happy” with the event.. Top ROH brass were “absolutely thrilled” with the show, as it had over 15,000 fans in attendance (head-to-head with the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony) and also provided the biggest gate in the company’s history at over seven figures. Cary Silkin tweeted the following:

AAA’s Dorian Rodan and Impact Wrestling’s Ed Nordholm were also in attendance at the show. Tony Schiavone was also backstage.
