Monday night’s episode of RAW opened with a brawl between The Miz and Logan Paul. According to a report from Dave Meltzer on this week’s edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, this was done intentionally to hide the boos that Paul was getting from fans.
To combat the negative crowd reaction, WWE had Logan Paul enter the ring at Madison Square Garden before the show started so that fans “could get the boos out of their system.” USA picked up the feed of the show with The Miz and Paul already brawling in the ring.
Paul would appear again later in the show for his segment, Impaulsive TV. Paul would be confronted by Miz and Maryse before Tommaso Ciampa attacked him from behind.
