Previously, here on eWN it was noted that there were some audio issues during Raw last night. Michael Cole could be heard saying “16-time World Champion” during Drew McIntyre’s entrance.

In a update from Fightful Select the issue was a “production error,” and the audio was part of the Roman Reigns and John Cena SummerSlam 2021 video package. It was noted that Drew McIntyre personally asked WWE’s production team about the error after seeing the circulating reports. In addition, WWE’s production team was reportedly confused as Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal got some of the best reactions of the night.
