Kyle O’Reilly hasn’t wrestled a match since June of 2022 after undergoing neck fusion surgery in September of that year. It’s been reported that he’s been dealing with a post-surgical issue and there hadn’t been any signs that he’ll be returning.
According to a report from Fightful Select, O’Reilly has been backstage at recent AEW events and is looking to make a return in the near future. As of this writing, there is still no timetable for his return.
O’Reilly and Adam Cole recently took to Twitter to react to the seventh anniversary of their World Championship match at ROH Final Battle 2016.
