We reported back in 2020 that WWE was working on a documentary involving Vince McMahon that would be airing on Netflix. At the time of our original report, the series was set to air in four parts.
Since that time, there have been very few details released regarding the project. According to a report from Pwinsider, the documentary is still in production. There is no release date set in stone just yet.
Additionally, Vince McMahon’s appearance at WrestleMania 38 may be included in the series.
Bill Simmons and Chris Smith are producing the project. WWE Studios is also said to be involved. One source stated that it’s “one of the highest-budgeted documentaries in Netflix history”.
