WrestleMania 40 (XL) takes place on April 6 and 7, 2024, at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
At the moment, there is no indication that Bunny will be booked for WrestleMania 40, it’s only that he has the open spot.
On a recent edition of the “I Just Wanna Talk To Friends” podcast, AEW wrestler Serpentico stated that if he had a catchphrase, he would like to borrow a punchline from the character Sho’nuff from The Last Dragon.
Serpentico said, “If Serpentico talked on TV, that would be his catchphrase. Maybe I can convince the powers that be to talk so I can say those lines. That’s it. I might have Angelico or Luther say it for me.”
In the film, Sho’nuff says, “Am I the meanest? Am I the prettiest? Am I the baddest mofo lowdown around this town? Who am I?,” while the minions chant “Sho’nuff.”
On a recent edition of the “Battleground Podcast,” Adam Copeland (Edge) addressed his future in wrestling, noting that the NJPW G1 Climax tournament is still a possibility at this stage of his career.
Copeland also expressed his interest in competing at the Arena Mexico and the Tokyo Dome. He said,
“That’s pretty exciting and a by-product of coming here is, ‘oh wait, hold on a second, Tokyo Dome.’ That’s on the checklist. Arena Mexico. I went there once. I was World Champion, but I wore a mask because I wanted to watch the show. I snuck in and watched the show with a mask on and just had a blast. I love the culture of lucha libre and the pageantry. Those two things would be very cool as a lifelong wrestling fan. Those experiences would be cool and I didn’t know they would ever be in the cards, so you have to write it off, especially after I had to retire in 2011, I couldn’t get those things done. Now I can get them done and that’s pretty fun. We’d have to carve out some time, I guess. Eddie [Eddie Kingston] did it this year, so it’s a possibility.”
