Former WWE Superstar Batista took to Twitter today to reveal that WWE turned him down when he asked for some lyrics from Wu Tang Clan’s RZA to be added to his theme song. He said,
“Here’s some cool background shit for ya! My homie @rza from @WuTangClan was going to add some lyrics to my music to give it an updated feel when I went back in 2014… FOR FREE!!!! And the @WWE said NO. Just another one of my frustrations of the 2014 **** show if a return.”
CM Punk responded to his tweet, saying,
“Lol. Sounds about right.”
It should be noted that CM Punk and Batista were extremely frustrated during that time period and both wound up leaving the company.
