On this past Monday’s episode of WWE RAW, Beth Phoenix appeared on-screen to save her husband Edge from a gang beatdown at the hands of The Judgment Day. The WWE Hall of Famer gripped a chair and challenged the faction to a fight as the show went off the air.
The Glamazon would appear on Busted Open Radio to discuss her appearance and whether it might lead to a match with Rhea Ripley. She said,
“We’ll have to see. With wrestling it’s like, I take it one day at a time. Everything changes, anything can happen. That’s a young lady that I have loved watching grow and I have loved watching flourish and thrive … She’s standing out and stepping up like she deserves and I’m not really happy about the ball shot. Like, I want to say nice things, but that really p***ed me off.”
Phoenix’s last match came at this year’s Rumble in a mixed tag match against The Miz and Maryse.
