Big E is immensely pleased to see how far The Usos have come in WWE, considering the low amount they were paid when they began in the company.
Speaking with Steve Fall of “The Ten Count” podcast, Big E spoke fondly of The Usos and revealed how much all of them were making when their WWE dreams were just getting started. He said,
“We’re talking Circa 2010, I was picking Jey up ’cause he didn’t have a car. I would pick him up on the way to practice. You know this is the time we were making 500$ a week.
“So to see guys that I was with when we were young, trying to make it, trying to figure it all out all these years later over a decade later of knowing those guys to see them in this slot to see them as main eventers just absolutely tearing it up really meant a lot.”
Big E has been out of action since March of last year due to a broken neck and has spoken in the past about his in-ring career possibly being finished.
