NBA star Dwight Howard attended this weekend’s WWE tryouts in Nashville, TN. The basketball star cut a WWE-style promo and seemed thrilled to have gotten the chance to try out for WWE.
Speaking on the Masked Man Show, current United States Champion Bobby Lashley was asked about Howard possibly joining WWE in the future. The Almighty champion doesn’t appear all that concerned.
“If he steps into the ring, I’ll spear him and chop him in half. He’s like a giant. He’s 10 foot tall. I have experience with giants. I had Omos, threw him around, and he’s half the size of Omos. I don’t think he wants to go against the All Mighty. Babysteps.”
Bobby Lashley has been on a role as of late. He reclaimed the United States Championship at Money in the Bank and successfully defended the title against Theory this past weekend at SummerSlam. He’ll next defend the title against Tommaso Ciampa on next week’s edition of Monday Night RAW.
