Booker T knows what it feels like to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, and knows which stars of the past he wants to see join him.
On a recent edition of his “Hall of Fame” podcast, Booker T was asked about the annual celebration of wrestling’s past, and whether Sable deserves an induction. He said,
“Yeah [Sable should be] a Hall of Famer, but there’s so many though. I don’t think the Midnight Express is in there either.
“Jim Cornette, his contribution to this business is undeniable. He believed in this business more than anything when he was doing it. When he did it, he did it better than anybody.”
“Without any question [Lex Luger should be in]. [His] contributions were felt by so many. So many were on that Lex Luger Train when he was running. He was always one of those guys who was a standout.”
Booker T was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013 and was inducted a second time in 2019 for his role as part of Harlem Heat.
This year’s WWE Hall of Fame will be the first ceremony and induction class that will be selected and overseen by WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque.
