Big E. was injured on Friday night’s episode of WWE SmackDown.
The scary spot came when Big E. and Kofi Kingston faced off in a match with Sheamus and Ridge Holland, which the latter wound up winning.
During the match, Holland hit an overhead belly-to-belly suplex on Big E. on the outside of the ring. This resulted in Big E. landing directly on his head and neck.
Following the spot, the show quickly went to a commercial break and Big E. was stretchered out of the arena. There was said to have been a lot of concern backstage. As he was being stretchered out of the arena, Big E. was able to give fans a thumbs up which is good news.
For what it’s worth, Big E. was taken to a hospital in Birmingham, AL by ambulance in order to undergo medical tests.
We send our best wishes to Big E.
