Jeff Hardy is All Elite!
On Wednesday, we reported here on eWn that Jeff Hardy’s non-compete clause had expired and he was free to work for AEW or anyone else for that matter.
Prior to Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite broadcast going live, Matt Hardy promised that there would be some changes coming after Sting, Darby Allin, and Sammy Guevara defeated Hardy, Andrade El Idolo, and Isiah Kassidy at Revolution.
All Elite Wrestling took to Twitter earlier in the day to announce that there would be an “emergency meeting” with A.H.F.O on Dynamite. During that meeting, Matt apologized for being an “assh*le” as of late. That didn’t go over well and he was eventually voted out of the group.
This led to Private Party, Andrade, and The Butcher attacking Hardy. Sting and Darby Allin would wind up coming out to make the save but it wasn’t enough.
Jeff Hardy’s music then hit and he came out to the ring and took the heels out. Matt and Jeff Hardy wound up embracing each other and showed some respect to Sting and Darby, who remained in the ring.
