A new report from Fightful has confirmed that Brian Kendrick has been granted his WWE release.
Kendrick, who asked for his release back in December, has now departed the company after last wrestling for WWE on the 205 Live brand in 2020. In the time since Kendrick’s last match, he also served as a producer for the WWE NXT brand. He also looked set to return to in-ring action after an angle was started between him and Harland. This however, never happened.
In an interesting twist, All Elite Wrestling has announced that Brian Kendrick will debut with the company tomorrow night on AEW Dynamite.
Kendrick will face Jon Moxley in what is a first-time meeting between the pair.
In his #AEW debut, @mrbriankendrick will face the toughest of tests tomorrow night on #AEWDynamite
