Brock Lesnar has said that his new look, complete with a ponytail, started off as a dare made to him by his children.
The former Universal Champion returned to WWE in August 2021, with a starkly different look than the clean-cut, clean-shaven “Beast Incarnate” fans had seen for years.
Speaking on the Pat McAfee show, Lesnar opened up about his unique look, saying:
“I’m just… yeah, I’ve been wearing cowboy hats for a long time. And I just enjoy wearing them. Dude, that was all just a joke for me. My kids would cut my hair and were like, ‘bet you won’t wear a ponytail’. I’m like ‘I bet you I will.'”
Lesnar’s new look has been part of a popular babyface turn for the “Beast Incarnate”, who is set to compete for the WWE Championship inside the Elimination Chamber this Saturday.
Brock Lesnar will face Universal Champion Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 38 in what is expected to be the main event of Night 2 on April 3rd.
