Sean ‘X-Pac’ Waltman will go down in history as one of the great journeymen of wrestling, according to Bruce Prichard.
Speaking on his “Something to Wrestle” podcast, Prichard was asked about the legacy of Waltman, who has competed in WWE, WCW, TNA/Impact Wrestling, and elsewhere. He said,
“I would say [he’s] what we used to call in the business, a journeyman. You know, a guy that went through and did really well, whatever territory that he went to when he worked a lot of different territories and did a lot of different things.
“I think Sean’s a step above that. Tremendous performer and someone that was able, had the skill set to get over, but also to get other people over. So that’s a unique skill set and one that he definitely had and was good at.”
Prichard shared his belief that outside factors with “drug and attitude issues“ prevented Waltman from ever becoming a World Champion throughout his career.
Waltman is already a two-time WWE Hall of Famer, for his work in DX and the nWo, and many believe Waltman will add a third ring, as a singles competitor, to his collection.
