After Zack Sabre Jr. called out Bryan Danielson at the NJPW Dominion event last weekend, there was speculation that the match between the two men could be booked for the AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door pay-per-view event.
However, the promotion has yet to confirm the match. Danielson will address his status for this show and next week’s Blood & Guts match on tonight’s Dynamite.
Danielson has been out of action for the last few weeks due to an unknown injury.
During today’s episode of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez said he has been told that Danielson is off the show. We’ll find out if that’s true in just a few hours.
