Charlotte Flair’s career with WWE hasn’t yet reached its peak, according to recent comments by the reigning SmackDown Women’s Champion.
Flair is WWE’s most decorated female Superstar in history, with six reigns as RAW Women’s Champion and seven reigns as SmackDown Women’s Champion.
The Queen is also a former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, a two-time NXT Women’s Champion, and a Women’s Royal Rumble winner.
When asked by CBS Sports’ Shakiel Mahjouri if she considers herself a ‘living legend,’ Flair said she’s not even reached her peak in WWE yet. She said,
“No. I’m like, I feel like we’re trying to push me out. I feel like I haven’t even hit my prime yet or like I’m just starting to get there. I love saying in a promo I’m a living legend. When I think of legend, I’m like, Undertaker’s career, like the status he’s at. It means retired and drinking piña coladas on the beach somewhere in Tulum.”
Flair will defend the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 39, and if the match headlines WrestleMania: Saturday as predicted, it will make Flair the first woman to headline multiple WrestleManias.
