At WWE WrestleMania 39, Charlotte Flair will defend the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship against Rhea Ripley.
This is a rematch from WrestleMania 36 in 2020 which saw Flair defeat Ripley to win the NXT Women’s Championship.
In an interview on Les anti-pods de la lutte, Flair was asked about the match, something that led to her sharing her belief that they should get the main event spot. She said,
“Rhea and I are main event quality, it’s a main event story, and I want to be in the main event with her. I know it’s going to be that good.”
