Chris Hero achieved success in Ring of Honor before joining WWE where he worked from 2011-2013. He returned in 2016 for a second run, working in NXT and NXT UK until his release in April 2020 due to budget cuts. Since then, he has not wrestled. Recently, Hero began working as a full-time producer for AEW.
On Saturday night, Hero appeared at a West Coast Pro Wrestling event and intervened when Timothy Thatcher continued to attack JT Thorne after their match. Hero confronted Thatcher, offering to be the person he could take advantage of.
He challenged Thatcher to a match at the November 17th West Coast Pro ‘Whiplash’ event, promising to be the knockout artist that he is instead of the matchmaker.
