In a recent interview with Wes Styles of Rock 96.7, former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho addressed the impact the Fozzy song “Judas” has had on the wrestling industry ever since he began using his band’s song as his entrance theme in All Elite Wrestling.
Jericho noted that not only has “Judas” caused a ripple effect in the industry, but wrestling fans now want to sing along with other wrestlers’ entrance songs as well. He said,
“Now it has definitely become a thing, it’s now to the point where other people’s ring songs are being sung with. I’m talking about Jungle Boy or even Seth Rollins in WWE. It’s almost like ‘Judas’ was the pioneer of that and the fans have so much fun singing that one they want to sing other ones as well, and that’s great. But ‘Judas’ was kind of one of the first for that.”
