When the Women’s Tag Team Championships were put into existence back in February, it was announced that they would be defended across all brands.
WWE has confirmed that that ruling is still in place and Asuka and Kairi will have access to both Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown, but should they lose their championships, Kairi and Asuka would be exclusive to the Monday night show.
A championship with a similar structure is the WWE 24/7 Championship. As of now, RAW has drafted R-Truth and the 24/7 Championship. There was no clarification that the championship would be defended outside of the red brand.
