On Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, both CM Punk and The Elite were removed from the video package that opens the show. Also, there was no mention of any of them during the opening segment.
AEW President Tony Khan opened up the show by announcing that the AEW World Title and AEW World Trios Titles were vacated. New Trios Champions (Death Triangle) were crowned later in the night, while an AEW World Title Tournament was announced.
As for Punk and The Elite, no official announcement has been made on their statuses, however, reports suggest they have all been suspended.
Punk is also believed to be dealing with a triceps injury.
