Out of the blue, Cody Rhodes and his wife Brandi have left AEW, as stated by both as well as the company in a series of tweets.
The first message was from Cody, whose Twitter is still named “AEW Community Outreach”. The three time TNT Champion thanked his former Elite stablemates as well as many young guys he helped develop like MJF and Sammy Guevara. He was followed by Brandi, who will be replaced by Amanda Huber as Chief Brand Officer.

It was previously reported that Cody Rhodes was a free agent and he was working without a contract. His last match happened on January 26th, as he dropped the TNT Championship back to Sammy Guevara. Brandi’s situation is different, as she was recently on TV and won her last matches on AEW Dark, teasing a match with Paige VanZant.
