During a media conference call earlier today, Cody was asked if he plans on using his last name now since he’s legally able to do so. He noted that while he likely won’t be using it in AEW, he’s excited to use it in third party ventures such as acting or appearances. He said he thinks the wrestling world knows who he is so using his last name isn’t needed. He also said he likes the way Justin Roberts currently announces him.
He hinted at making a deal with WWE and said there are “no hard feelings on either side.”
