With Cody Rhodes re-signing with WWE and departing AEW, there were many who were left wondering what his future was going to be on the “Go-Big Show” TBS series and also “Rhodes to the Top”.
According to a report from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Rhodes will be able to continue his role on the Go-Big Show, as his contract with WWE will allow him to work on various outside projects. As for the ‘Rhodes to the Top’ reality show, filming had begun for Season 2, but with Rhodes departing AEW the show is pretty much in the can since AEW staff and crew were used for the filming of the show.
What will become of the show footage filmed for Season 2 up until the point of Rhodes’ AEW departure remains a mystery. Many fans before had speculated that Rhodes was using this as a storyline to trick fans into thinking he was actually going to re-sign with AEW, but that obviously was not the case at all.
