It looks like IWGP United States Champion Cody Rhodes’ time with The Bullet Club could be at an end. Recently, Cody noted that he’s entering a transition into a new role in professional wrestling. He and several other Bullet Club members, such as The Young Bucks and Marty Scurll, have released their final Bullet Club style t-shirts.
Rhodes then posted on Twitter earlier today, responding to a fan who was asking who he’d like to see join the Bullet Club from any other promotion in the world. Cody responded by saying that The Bullet Club is Jay White’s now, and he loved being a part of it while it lasted:
“The Bullet Club is all Jay’s thing now. Loved being part of it! Met some good folks.”

There have also been rumors going around that Cody could return to WWE soon. Along with The Young Bucks and other Ring Of Honor (ROH) and New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) stars, Cody’s contract is set to expire in January. When that happens, WWE is expected to be making a push to sign several big stars in free agency. Perhaps Cody will be among them.
