If there’s one wrestler who’d like to see WWE return to Puerto Rico for a significant event, it’s the Puerto Rican star, Damian Priest. The Judgement Day member was a guest on the Kick Rocks podcast and discussed the possibility of WWE holding a major pay-per-view event in Puerto Rico. While he doesn’t give a definitive answer, Priest did tease that he had conversations about the idea backstage.
“We’ve had some conversations about it,” Priest said. “I’ll just keep it at that. Stay tuned.”
Back in December 2022, there was a rumor floating around that WWE would host a stadium show in Puerto Rico prior to WrestleMania 39 and that it would be headlined by Bad Bunny and Rey Mysterio vs. Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio. This would’ve led to Bad Bunny competing against Dominik Mysterio in a singles match at WrestleMania. However, no such event has yet to be announced by WWE as of this writing.
