Brock Lesnar isn’t expected to step back into the Octagon for another MMA fight, according to UFC President Dana White.
After leaving the wrestling world behind, Lesnar announced his arrival at UFC in 2007 and despite losing his first fight, would quickly become UFC Heavyweight Champion.
Speaking to The Spun by Sports Illustrated, White expressed his belief that Lesnar is done competing in professional MMA bouts. He said,
“Brock and I have a great relationship, and we always have, but I don’t think Brock wants to fight anymore. Brock’s made a lot of money. He came into the UFC and won the heavyweight title. He’s got nothing left to prove. I don’t think he’d want to do it.”
Lesnar parted ways with UFC in 2011 and would return to WWE in April 2012.
In 2016, the Beast Incarnate would return for a fight at UFC 200, but his win was overturned due to a drug test violation.
Brock Lesnar is scheduled to face Omos next month at WWE WrestleMania 39.
