Danny Hodge has passed away. The pro wrestling legend was 88-years-old.
Hodge’s niece noted that he passed away after a battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She wrote the following:
“my great uncle danny hodge (the man the myth the legend) passed away last night from Alzheimer’s please honor his memory by sharing what you love most about him/his career if ur a fan.”
Hodge was trained by Leroy McGuirk and Ed “Strangler” Lewis. His career started in 1959 and he blazed a trail in pro wrestling history.
