On last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Darby Allin defeated Samoa Joe to capture the TNT Championship for a second time. Darby pinned Joe following two Coffin Drops to a huge pop from his hometown crowd in Seattle, Washington.

Darby Allin’s first title reign lasted 186 days, which stands as the longest TNT Championship reign in AEW’s young history. Meanwhile, Samoa Joe’s title reign ends at 47 days. He won the title at Full Gear from Wardlow in a three-way match, also involving Powerhouse Hobbs. Joe still remains the ROH World Television Champion.
Following the match, Darby Allin celebrated with ‘The Icon’ Sting. After the show went off the air, he addressed his hometown. He also introduced 17 year old wrestler Nick Wayne, teasing a future match between the two.
