Former professional wrestler Davey Richards, who has been absent from the wrestling scene since March 17, 2023, following allegations of domestic violence, has recently addressed his current status. In the wake of these accusations, various promotions and teams severed their ties with Richards, resulting in his removal from several scheduled events.
On the same day as the allegations emerged, Richards released a statement vehemently denying all charges leveled against him. Furthermore, he announced his decision to retire from the wrestling industry.
Today, on Thursday, June 8, Richards took to Twitter to issue another statement, titled, “The last 3 months have been – wow, tempestuous to say the least.”

Notably, he showcased his talents in esteemed promotions such as Ring of Honor, Impact Wrestling, New Japan Pro Wrestling, Major League Wrestling, PWG, and Pro Wrestling NOAH.
