After yesterday’s Twitter posts, it sure seemed like Dax Harwood was unhappy with AEW and being recognized for his work. Today, Harwood says the “he’s unhappy” narrative isn’t accurate.
It was previously reported that issues between Harwood and AEW stemmed from the company giving congratulations to the roster members who won Wrestling Observer Newsletter Awards, but not showing the same love to FTR. FTR captured the Best Tag Team award for 2022.
In response to AEW’s “snub,” Harwood took to Twitter to seemingly voice his complaints about going unrecognized. In reference to FTR’s AEW contracts expiring in April, Harwood wrote yesterday, “Tell me April’s around the corner without telling me April’s around the corner.”

Apparently, Harwood didn’t appreciate the “he’s unhappy” narrative that arose from yesterday’s Twitter posts so today, the FTR member once again posted to Twitter, stating that he’s happier than he’s been in a long time. You can see today’s tweet below:
Guys, real quick, I’m the happiest I’ve ever been. The “he’s unhappy” narrative that’s been painted of me because I stand up for myself has always made me laugh, but today even more. I’m very appreciative of what all of you have given me & my family. Stress is down, life is good. https://t.co/nIfYleFb3Y pic.twitter.com/NN9cGZLt9E
