As confirmed by WWE, Scott Dawson of The Revival suffered a ruptured bicep this past weekend working a WWE Live Event. WWE sent out a video with insider Mike Rome updating the WWE Universe on Dawson’s injury and stated that it could require surgery.
Dave Meltzer noted in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Scott Dawson actually worked Sunday’s live event with the bicep injury, but once he arrived to TV on Monday night, he was examined and the medical team scheduled a meeting with him for later this week to determine if he will need surgery or not.
Meltzer: “I don’t know exactly how it happened. I do know that it was a total fluke, not a big bump, not anything. It was just something routine in a match in Halifax and the bicep just tore and again, you know that’s probably the accumulation of wear and tear because it wasn’t part of a big move or a wrong spot or anything.”
Earlier in the year, Dash Wilder suffered a fractured jaw shortly after him & Dawson made their main roster debut.
