Devon ‘Hannibal’ Nicholson has been charged with assault over an alleged incident between himself and a woman last month.
Nicholson has competed in several promotions including Stampede Wrestling, Deep South Wrestling WWC Puerto Rico, and had a tryout with WWE.
According to Pwinsider, Nicholson will go on trial on October 12 in Kingston, Ontario, Canada for allegedly attacking a woman last month.
Nicholson appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice earlier today for a bail hearing, with conditions on his bail.
“Nicholson has been released under the supervision of his parents and must either stay with them or contact them daily, has been ordered to have no contact with the victim and will have to abide by a nightly curfew.”
Nicholson is no stranger to controversy, having stabbed referee Lando Deltoro with a spike at a World Class Pro Wrestling event late last year.
Deltoro required seven staples and emergency surgery for the injuries after severing an artery in his skull.
In 2007, Nicholson faced Abdullah the Butcher, and was awarded $2.3 million in court after it was determined that Abdullah had given Hannibal Hepatitis C during the match.
