On a recent edition of the “MuscleManMalcolm” podcast, D’Lo Brown noted how he is unwilling to get chopped by reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER.
You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:
On never wanting a chop from GUNTHER: “I don’t ever want him to chop me. I don’t want none of that smoke.”
On having been an Intercontinental Champion in WWE: “I’m just happy to be in that same category. If you go down the list of great Intercontinental Champions from The Honky Tonk Man and Pat Patterson to The Rock, Triple H, Stone Cold, Eddie Guerrero, I’m on that list. So, what more could you ask for?”
On another edition of the “MuscleManMalcolm” podcast, Matt Cardona stated that he wishes to change the design of the Intercontinental Championship if he returns to WWE.
Cardona also shared his thoughts on GUNTHER breaking the record for the longest Intercontinental Title reign.
Cardona’s own reign with the WWE Intercontinental Championship lasted just one day back in 2016. He said,
“I would say it’d be cool to be the shortest reign versus the longest reign. But I’m not the shortest reign. I think Dean Douglas might have that.”
He continued, “Man, imagine that story, coming back to win back my championship. Then I’d switch it back to the other title because this one sucks. It’s horrible. It looks horrible. It’s not cool. It’s not toyetic. I don’t like it.”
