Per a report from Cleveland.com, WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler’s brother, Donald Nemeth, was sentenced to 15 years in prison today (Mon. August 28, 2017) for involuntary man slaughter. The victim was a 34-year-old military veteran and drug dealer named Joshua Mascol, who Nameth and his accomplice, Jack King, are accused of killing after a robbery gone wrong.

Both men were implicated back in January of 2016 before pleading guilty last month for involuntary manslaughter, robbery and kidnapping. While Nemeth will serve 15 years in prison, King was given a 17-year sentence. Nameth was reportedly good friends with Mascol, whom he often bought drugs from, before he and King decided to attempt to rob him. During the robbery, which occurred in the hallway of a University Hotel and Suites, Mascol was shot in a scuffle and killed. It is not known who pulled the trigger.

The hotel security camera could not make out who the gunman was and neither man will admit to it. Despite this, Nemeth apologized to Mascol’s family in court and blamed his actions on his drug addiction, which he claims he had been keeping a secret from his family for some time. The family was finally alerted of his issues when he was wanted by the police:

“I’ve been battling severe addiction issues and I lost a good friend because of it,” Nemeth said.

Dolph Ziggler, who’s real name is Nick Nemeth, made no comment on the matter in the report.
