As we saw on Thursday night’s edition of Impact Wrestling, Don Callis has officially been removed as Executive Vice President from the organization (in storyline).
For those unaware, Callis had previously “fired” Sami Callihan at Against All Odds and had clearly abused his power in favor of his client and current Impact Wrestling, AAA and AEW World Champion, Kenny Omega. Therefore, Tommy Dreamer came out as a representative for Anthem Media and announced on behalf of the parent company to Impact that Callis is no longer employed by Impact. In addition, Dreamer also reinstated Sami Callihan.
Callis is expected to remain as Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers’ manager on Impact, and tonight’s show ended with Sami Callihan meeting Callis backstage to reveal that he was going to make him watch as he bashed Omega’s brains in at Slammiversary.
